Mark J. EriCkson, DDS

Dr. Erickson was born and raised in Superior, Wisconsin, and earned his undergraduate degree from The College of St. Scholastica, where he also played collegiate baseball for the Saints. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center before pursuing specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

After completing his residency, Dr. Erickson remained at Gundersen as a staff surgeon, where he spent the past eight years practicing a blend of private practice and academic surgery while actively participating in resident education. In 2026, Dr. Erickson joined Northern Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is excited to return to the Twin Ports area to serve the community he calls home.

Dr. Erickson is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS) and also holds certification in anesthesia through the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA). His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, office-based anesthesia, and dental implants. He also has experience in corrective jaw surgery, obstructive sleep apnea, temporomandibular joint disorders, facial trauma, and alveolar cleft repair.

Outside of the office, Dr. Erickson enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacy, and their two children, Zoey and Parker. Their family is thrilled to be back in the Twin Ports area, closer to family and able to enjoy everything the region has to offer. Dr. Erickson looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the community.
