Mark T. Ash, DDS
Dr. Ash grew up in Grayslake, Illinois, and earned his undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Winona State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and played collegiate baseball as a pitcher. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. His advanced training continued at the University of Minnesota, where he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In 2025, Dr. Ash joined Northern Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and an active member of the professional community. His clinical interests include office-based procedures such as wisdom teeth removal, hard and soft tissue grafting, dental implants, and sedation and general anesthesia for anxious patients. His hospital-based interests include orthognathic surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, management of head and neck infections, treatment of benign pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction, and TMJ surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ash enjoys spending time with his wife, Cassandra (Cass), their two children, Henrik and Annika, and their dog, Jackson. Together, they love exploring the North Shore and experiencing all that Minnesota has to offer. He is also passionate about sports, gardening, and has even worked on a greenhouse and cattle farm in southeastern Minnesota. Dr. Ash is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to serving the community with compassionate, comprehensive care.
